Be A Wedding Photographer/Blogging Pro

Being a wedding photographer can be quite tough all on its own.

bride and groomThere are so many things that you will need to learn and know like the back of your hand. You need to make sure that you have the right amount of people skills to manage and handle clients well as well as rowdy crowds during the wedding photo shoot. You also need to make sure that you have all of the photography gear that you could ever need prepared and set up well ahead of time so that you don’t come across any delays during the photo shoot.

Another thing that you will need to add on to the list of things that you will need to learn in order for you to succeed as a professional wedding photographer would be the concept of learning how to blog.  It is not the easiest thing to learn in the world but it can be quite made at least slightly easier by the tons of resources made available for you online and even in certain classes offered out there for wedding photographers and for other entrepreneurs who are looking to break out into the business industry as well.

Tag your images

Make it a point to tag all of your images that you include in the wedding photography blog that you write up at some point or so. A wedding photographer who does not even bother to tag the images that he puts up posts all of these images in futility because Google will not be able to index the images. What this means for you is that Google searches will not lead up to your live blog post because there are no image tags to match the searches to in the first place. It may sound like a pain to tag around roughly thirty images or so when you come to think about it but it is something that will be well worth it all in the end and this is something that will really be able to work out for your blog from a search engine optimization stand point.

You don’t even have to write extremely lengthy tags.

You just need to make sure that you are able to write the right ones. Try to think about what people would normally try to look up. Think about the terms that you will normally try to look up if you are looking for things or ideas related to the blog pictures and try to run with those in the beginning.

Make sure that you regulate the amount of pictures that you are able to put in your blog.

As a documentary wedding photographer, the last thing that you would want to do would be to bore your audience out by putting in too many pictures that are somewhat a bit redundant and that don’t really string a story through quite as well as you would like to in the first place. Keep it stable and steady. Stick to around thirty images or so. That should do the trick. Your aim is to be able to tell a story through the pictures.
