Your 1-Week Boudoir Photo Shoot Prep Program

Stay out of the sun as much as you possibly can.

boudoir photographyAlthough it might seem like a good idea at first to seem to have a golden glow in your skin, getting out in the sun is not a great way to go. For starters, being out in the sun will directly expose you to the sun’s harmful UV rays. Unless you are out in the sun timing your sun exposure every step of the way and being naked while you are at it, this is not the type of thing that will work out for you when it all comes down to it. You have to make sure that you get to do something about this at some point or so. When you are exposed to the sun all of the time, your skin will get sunburnt or at least look red and blotchy in uneven areas. This is not the type of thing that will help you come out looking great and glowing in your boudoir photo shoot so you might as well avoid it altogether.

More than that, what you need to understand when it all comes down to it is the fact that you will be showing a lot of skin during the boudoir photo shoot and this is why you should save that trip to the beach for a later date. Do it after your scheduled boudoir photo session, not before it. You will be thanking your lucky stars later on that you were patient and held off on the vacationing, even for just a little while.

Don’t even think about spray tanning, either.

Unless you want to come out looking like an orange oompa loompa during the boudoir photo shoot, then this is the type of thing that you should veer away from at all costs when it all comes down to it. If you must have that golden glow for your boudoir photos, put on some tinted moisturizer right before the shoot instead. You get to have all of the fun minus the permanence and minus the icky looking stuff as well at the end of the day. It is the type of thing that you can really do without.

Furless is flawless and that is all that you need to know, even if it is just for now.

Make sure that you actually get to go ahead and set an appointment with your waxing salon at least a week before the actual boudoir photo shoot. Scheduling the session properly is extremely important. You can’t get yourself waxed at a date that is way too close to the boudoir photo session. Make it a point to go ahead and ask your photographer for advice as much as possible when it comes to things like this. Top photographers with more or less the same caliber as with Ruby Boudoir are bound to give you some pretty interesting tips or info about things like this. Your skin will turn out to look smooth and all buffed for the photos and this is really great to check out after all has been said and done.
